1 About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the BarSync website, web application and related BarSync services. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use BarSync on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
2 The BarSync Service
BarSync is a B2B inventory and stock-control service for hospitality businesses. Features may include inventory records, barcode scanning, delivery-note processing, stock analysis, alerts and related tools. BarSync supports operational decision-making but does not replace a business's own accounting, purchasing, tax, food-safety or regulatory controls.
3 Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.
- Information supplied to BarSync must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date.
- You must promptly notify us if you believe an account has been compromised.
4 Subscriptions, Pricing and Payments
Paid plans are charged at the price and billing interval shown when you subscribe, unless a separate written offer applies. Applicable taxes may be added where required. Subscription features and limits may vary by plan.
Where purchases are made through a third-party platform such as Apple, billing, cancellation and refund handling may also be subject to that platform's terms. Promotional, Sales Partner and Founding Member offers may have additional eligibility conditions stated with the relevant offer.
5 Acceptable Use
You may not misuse BarSync, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with service security, reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it, upload unlawful or malicious material, use the service to infringe another person's rights, or use automated means in a way that materially disrupts the service.
6 Your Data
You retain ownership of business and inventory data you submit to BarSync. You grant BarSync the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit and otherwise use that data to provide, secure and improve the service. Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7 Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security incidents, third-party outages and product changes may occasionally affect access. We may add, change or discontinue features where reasonably necessary to operate or improve BarSync.
8 Intellectual Property
BarSync and its software, branding, website content, interface and other materials are owned by or licensed to BarSync and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your business; they do not transfer ownership of BarSync intellectual property.
9 Third-party Services
BarSync may rely on third-party infrastructure, payment processors, analytics, AI services or app-distribution platforms. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. BarSync is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
10 Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. To the extent permitted by law, BarSync is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity or data arising from use of the service. You remain responsible for verifying inventory, purchasing and financial decisions made using BarSync outputs.
11 Cancellation and Termination
You may stop using BarSync or cancel a subscription in accordance with the billing method used. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, security, unlawful use or a material breach of these Terms. Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, payment and liability provisions, continue to apply.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as BarSync develops or legal requirements change. For material changes affecting existing customers, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
